I have had a darkroom since I was 16 and I have always been interested in chemistry. I started to experiment with old and alternative photographic processes in the 90-ties when I was living in South Africa. It was thrilling to discover that there was so much more than the standard glossy pictures from the 1-hour development shops. I am fascinated by the history of discoveries and that is certainly true for photography with all its failures and strange variations from 200 years!
